When you invite the DarkBeat bot to your Discord server, use our Web Dashboard, or interact with our services, we appreciate that you are trusting us with your information. This Privacy Policy outlines what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Discord Identifiers
We store User IDs, Guild (Server) IDs, Channel IDs, and Role IDs to ensure the bot functions correctly across different servers and to maintain user gamification profiles.
Server Settings
We store configuration preferences set by server administrators (e.g., custom prefixes, configured music request channels, and DJ roles).
Listening & Interaction Data
We record basic statistics such as total songs played and listening duration to power our leveling, gamification, and "Audio DNA" features.
Web Dashboard Authentication
If you log into our web dashboard, we use Discord's OAuth2 service to securely verify your identity. We temporarily access your username, avatar, and server list to display your dashboard, but we do not store your Discord account password.
Premium Payment Data
If you purchase a DarkBeat Premium plan, your payment is securely processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card number, UPI ID, bank details, or any sensitive payment credentials on our servers. We only retain your Discord User ID, the plan type purchased (Monthly / Lifetime), and a Razorpay transaction reference ID strictly for the purpose of verifying your purchase and providing support.
Message Content
DarkBeat does not log, store, or archive the contents of your messages.
When you use our dedicated Music Request channels or prefix commands (e.g. !play, !skip), the message content is processed entirely in volatile memory to execute the command and is immediately discarded. It is never written to any database.
Personal Background Information
We do not collect real names, physical addresses, emails (unless voluntarily provided for support), or sensitive payment credentials.
User Presence / Activity Status
We do not track what games you are playing, your Discord online/offline status, or any other real-time activity data.
We use the information we collect strictly to operate, maintain, and improve the DarkBeat service:
Server Data
Server settings are kept as long as the bot remains in your server. If the bot is kicked or removed, settings may be automatically purged.
User Data
Gamification and listening statistics represent long-term user progression and are kept indefinitely unless a deletion request is submitted by the user.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties. Your data is kept strictly confidential. The only exceptions where data might be shared are:

Run the command /data-delete within any server where DarkBeat is present.
Via Support Server
Join our official Support Server at discord.gg/MWM4uGv6 and open a support ticket. We process all deletion requests within 72 hours.
