Terms of Service

DarkBeat provides high-performance audio, gamification, and server management tools for Discord communities. By inviting the bot, using our web dashboard, or purchasing any premium service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please remove the bot from your server and discontinue use.

1. Acceptable Use

Users and server administrators are responsible for their conduct while using DarkBeat. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Spamming bot commands or deliberately attempting to crash, lag, or overload the bot infrastructure.
  • Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for unfair gamification advantages (XP, Coins, or Gems).
  • Using the bot to broadcast harmful, illegal, abusive, or prohibited content in any Discord server.
  • Circumventing server-specific restrictions, DJ roles, or audio permissions set by server administrators.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the DarkBeat API or web dashboard.

2. Service Availability

While we strive for maximum uptime, DarkBeat is provided "as-is" without any warranty of continuous availability. We may perform scheduled maintenance or experience unexpected outages. We are not liable for any data loss, server downtime, disrupted music queues, or missed events caused by service interruptions.

3. Customization & Data

Configurations made via the Web Dashboard (prefixes, music request channels, DJ roles, economy settings) are stored securely in our database. You retain ownership of your server's configuration data, but grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the DarkBeat service. We do not use your server's data for advertising or third-party analytics.

4. Premium Plans & Payments

DarkBeat offers optional paid Premium tiers. By purchasing a Premium plan, you agree to the following:

  • All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your payment credentials.
  • Monthly Plan: Access to enhanced features for the current billing period. The plan is not automatically renewed — you must purchase it again each month.
  • Lifetime Plan: A one-time purchase granting permanent access to Premium features for as long as DarkBeat remains operational.
  • Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final. Refunds are considered only in exceptional circumstances (e.g., duplicate charges). Please contact our support server within 48 hours of purchase if you believe there has been an error.
  • Premium features are subject to change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of any feature removals.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to block individual users or entire servers from using DarkBeat if these terms are violated. Termination can occur without prior notice for severe violations including, but not limited to, attempts to compromise bot infrastructure, large-scale abuse of the economy system, or use of the bot for illegal purposes. Banned users may not receive a refund for any active Premium plans.

6. Disclaimer

DarkBeat is an independent project and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Discord Inc. Use of the bot is entirely at your own risk. We do not guarantee the permanence of user statistics, server settings, or gamification progress across major version updates.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of DarkBeat after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect when the most recent changes were made.
